Annexure D or Change of name ad after marriage in Newspapers Online  is as low as 399/- in 2 newspapers.

kindly note that the Change of name ad after marriage is only required if there is a change of 1st name only. If the lady changes her middle name and surname from father’s name and surname to Husband’s name and his surname  by vitue of marriage then Annexure “D” that is Marriage certificate is enough. There is NO need to Publish a name change ad in the Newspaper when applying for passport

There are cases specially in certain communities where the husband changes the name of the wife after her marriage. In such circumstances where the first name also gets changed than placing of Ad in Newspapers is compulsory. she needs to have a Change of name affidavit done i.e Deedpoll affidavit or Annexure “E” has to be made and an ad needs to be placed in 2 local Newspapers. You may scan  and email it across to us and the ad shall appear in the next days Newspaper.

For Eg. Priya Shailesh Khanna changes her name to Priya Rajesh Mathur after marriage (no ad needs to be placed) . However  If Priya Shailesh Khanna changes her name to Sarika Rajesh Mathur after marriage than an anneure “E” has to be made and a change of name ads has to be placed in the newspaper
